Dr. Sunyatta Guild, BSc, DC, FICPA is celebrating her 25th year of practice in Tottenham, Ontario! Dr. Guild is driven by her knowledge, experience and passion and has been dedicated to her patient’s well-being, creating an environment and services at the Wellness Centre that encourages her patients to live healthier lives. She extends her services well beyond the Centre to help create a healthier, happier community in New Tecumseth. She uses a wide range of techniques, delivering gentle, natural, chiropractic care for people of all ages with any health challenges or issues. You can often see Dr. Guild and her husband running the trails with two or three of their four-legged furry friends. She is also an accomplished musician and soprano singer performing and competing both locally and regionally. Read more about Dr. Guild.
Marie McNally, R.M.T., graduated from Everest College (formerly CDI College) as a qualified and Registered Massage Therapist in 2008. She specializes in Therapeutic Swedish Massage, deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Massage therapy is useful in the management of of pain-increasing the flow of blood and oxygen to the muscles while also improving joint flexibility. Treatment focuses on specific conditions such as whiplash, rotator cuff injury, back and neck pain as well as addressing whole body stress relief and relaxation. Marie believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and that massage therapy is one of many paths to restoring and maintaining health. Marie has truly enjoyed the last 3 years working as part of the health care team here at GCWC. She has lived in the community for 21 years and has 2 grown children and 2 beautiful grandchildren. Tara Lukezic-Cambria, B.Sc., Registered Massage Therapist, graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in North York, Ontario, and has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist for almost 10 years now. Tara worked in various clinics in Guelph, Elmira and Brampton gaining experience and developing her skill before joining the team at Guild Chiropractic. She also has a background in nutrition with a BSc from the University of Western Ontario. Tara is certified in Deep Tissue Massage treatments for difficult and chronic conditions, and Hot Stone Massage, known to be highly effective for relief of stress. Her excellent massage techniques focus on improving a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. The team approach with the other associates at Guild Chiropractic Wellness Centre has been a rewarding experience, helping her clients reach their wellness goals. Time flies for Tara with her work and her young, active family at home- her children are her greatest joy. Outside of family and treating clients Tara enjoys spending her time hiking, golfing, doing yoga and would love to get back into playing piano and downhill skiing. Read more about Tara.
Laura Gardham has been a certified personal training specialist since 2008, training clients at Snap Fitness Gym in Alliston and Bradford, at her home gym in Alliston as well as at her clients’ homes. Laura started her career in the fitness industry as a class instructor for the town of Alliston in 1995. In 2003 Laura earned her black belt designation in Shito-Ryu karate and has been teaching karate and fitness classes with the Essa Township since 2008. She is also an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying camping and canoeing in the warmer seasons and cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months.
Randi Foley, SSW, HSW has been a counselor/therapist in the York Region and Simcoe County since 2000. She graduated with honours from George Brown College with diplomas in counseling mental health, addictions, physical and emotional trauma, grief, and abuse. She also received the Excellence in Counseling award from the George Brown faculty. Randi has also acquired knowledge and experience in anger management, and post traumatic stress disorder & is a certified Life Skills Coach. Randi has been part of the Guild Chiropractic Wellness team since 2009 where she focuses on a holistic, spiritual approach to counseling. Randi works with youth, adults and families. She firmly believes that to achieve a complete sense of well being, there must be a balance of mind, body and spirit. Her approach to counseling is clientfocused, clientled, guiding and empowering individuals towards wholeness, balance, total wellbeing and strong sense of self. Randi has lived in our community since 1986. she is also an accomplished musician, has her A.R.C.T. with the Toronto Royal Conservatory and teaches piano to up and coming musicians.
Wendy Topping, Chiropractic Health Assistant, will greet you with a smile and help you feel comfortable from the moment she speaks with you or greets you at our front door. If you have any questions, regarding our services or need to book an appointment,Wendy is your go-to person. Wendy and her family have been receiving chiropractic adjustments from Dr. Guild for over 13 years and she became a part of our Chiropractic team over six years ago. Apart from ensuring that our Centre runs smoothly, she also plays an integral part in helping our patients get the best care possible and help them achieve their health goals. Wendy’s caring, nurturing ways come from years of being a Birthing Doula, and bringing up 4 children of her own. She has three grandchildren and lives with her husband, Ted, in the country with two quarter horses, a cat and three dogs.
Shira Harrison McIntyre
Shira Harrison McIntyre has been practicing yoga and bodywork for over 18 years in Canada, the U.S. and India. Shira has integrated a variety of styles into her approach including Astanga, Kripalu, Restorative and Himalayan Nadi Yoga. She has completed trainings in Kripalu Yoga, Kripalu Bodywork, Thai Yoga Massage, Classical Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Kids Yoga and Flexibility Training. Shira is now teaching Pilates and completing her International Body Control Pilates certification. During her years of studying and teaching, Shira has developed a light-hearted and accessible approach to her instruction. Students of all abilities and ranges of experience will feel supported and challenged in her classes.
